Vegan Tomato "Tuna" Poke


  • 28 oz. canned diced tomatos, drained and rinsed with tomato ends removed

  • 1/4 cup tamari

  • 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp. water

  • 1 tbsp. diced fresh green onion

  • 1 tsp. minced garlic

  • 1 tsp. toasted sesame seeds

  • 1/4 tsp. rice vinegar


  1. In a mixing bowl, add rinsed tomatoes and set aside.

  2. In a small mixing bowl, add all other ingredients and whisk until well incorporated.

  3. Pour on top of the tomatoes and mix well.

  4. Refrigerate for at least an hour to set.

  5. Add to your favorite poke bowl or sushi!
